Ingredients
- 1.5 oz Cognac
- 0.75 oz orange liqueur
- 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
- 0.5 oz spiced plum syrup (1 cup plum jam, 0.5 cup water, 1 cinnamon stick: simmer 5 min, strain)
- Rim: superfine sugar
- Garnish: fresh plum slice on a pick
Build
- Sugar the rim of a chilled coupe.
- Shake everything hard with ice.
- Double-strain into the coupe.
- Rest the plum pick across the rim.

2 oz plum or red grape juice, 0.5 oz orange juice, 0.5 oz lemon, 0.25 oz plum syrup.Batch for 8. 12 oz Cognac, 6 oz orange liqueur, 4 oz lemon, 4 oz plum syrup; shake 3.25 oz to order.
