Holly Jolly Manhattan
Rye, spiced vermouth and a sprig of holly.

Ingredients
- 2 oz rye whiskey
- 1 oz sweet vermouth + 1 bar spoon allspice dram
- 2 dashes Angostura
- Garnish: brandied cherry; faux holly sprig on the rim
Build
- Stir everything with ice, 25 seconds.
- Strain into a chilled Nick and Nora glass.
- Drop in the cherry; clip the holly to the rim.
Zero-proof twin
2 oz non-alcoholic whiskey alternative, 1 oz non-alcoholic sweet vermouth alternative, NA bitters.Batch for 8. 16 oz rye, 8 oz vermouth, 1 oz allspice dram, 16 dashes bitters, 5 oz water; freeze and pour 3.75 oz.
Safety. holly berries are toxic. Use faux holly and keep it out of the drink.
Swap. no allspice dram? Use a bar spoon of cinnamon syrup and an extra dash of Angostura.
