Make-aheadSoak sugar cubes ahead on a plate
Ingredients
- 1 sugar cube soaked with 3 dashes Angostura bitters
- 0.5 oz Cognac
- 4 oz chilled brut Champagne or dry sparkling wine
- Garnish: lemon twist
Build
- Drop the soaked sugar cube into the flute.
- Add the Cognac.
- Top slowly with Champagne.
- Express the lemon twist and hang it on the rim.
