Ingredients
- 1.25 oz white rum
- 0.5 oz melon liqueur
- 0.75 oz cream of coconut
- 0.75 oz coconut milk
- 1.5 oz pineapple juice
- 0.25 oz fresh lime juice
- 0.5 oz grenadine
- Garnish: toasted coconut flakes, pineapple wedge, a cocktail cherry
Build
- Fill the hurricane glass with crushed ice.
- Shake rum, melon liqueur, cream of coconut, coconut milk, pineapple and lime hard with ice until frosty.
- Strain over the crushed ice.
- Pour the grenadine slowly down the inside of the glass. It sinks to the bottom and bleeds up in soft red wisps; don't stir.
- Dust with toasted coconut; add the pineapple and cherry.

skip the rum and melon liqueur; add 1 oz more pineapple and 0.5 oz melon syrup, same grenadine pour.Batch for 8. 10 oz white rum, 4 oz melon liqueur, 6 oz cream of coconut, 6 oz coconut milk, 12 oz pineapple, 2 oz lime; shake 5 oz per drink and pour 0.5 oz grenadine into each glass.
