Ingredients
- Absinthe, to rinse the glass
- 1 oz Cognac
- 1 oz rye whiskey
- 0.5 oz Bénédictine
- 2 dashes Peychaud's bitters
- Garnish: lemon twist
Build
- Rinse the chilled glass with a few drops of absinthe; discard the excess.
- Stir Cognac, rye, Bénédictine and bitters with ice, 25 seconds.
- Strain into the glass.
- Express the lemon twist over the top.

2 oz chilled strong black tea, 0.5 oz honey syrup, 2 dashes non-alcoholic bitters, lemon twist.Batch for 8. 8 oz Cognac, 8 oz rye, 4 oz Bénédictine, 16 dashes Peychaud's, 5 oz water; bottle and freeze; pour 3 oz per glass.
